By registering for and using zertwacht.com or app.zertwacht.com (“Service”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“ToS”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Registration might require a valid credit card, which will not be charged until the end of your free trial.
A free trial is provided until the detection of the first certificate event plus an additional seven (7) days thereafter unless specified otherwise.
You will be notified seven (7) days and one (1) day before your card is charged, providing an opportunity to cancel.
Subscription terms are available annually, with pro-rated refunds available if cancelled mid-term. Pro-ration applies even to incomplete months based on service provided during that month. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
Business and professional subscriptions may be invoiced and paid by wire transfer upon request.
You have thirty (30) days from your initial or renewal payment to request a full refund, no questions asked.
Zertwacht.com reserves the right to modify subscription plans, content, and pricing. Users will be notified of any such changes at least one (1) month prior to their subscription renewal date, with the option to cancel.
Zertwacht.com reserves the right to discontinue service to any user for any reason or no reason. Paid users will be notified one (1) month in advance and provided a pro-rated refund. Trial users may be terminated immediately.
Zertwacht.com will not be liable for any damages, including financial or operational losses, arising from the failure to detect certificates or deliver notifications.
The Service aims to achieve 100% detection and notification within 24 hours of certificate issuance logged to Certificate Transparency (CT) logs. However, Zertwacht.com has no control over certificate issuance or the logging practices of certificate issuers.
Availability of monitored domains, notification methods, and support levels depend upon the user’s subscription tier.
Support, if any, provided is explicitly defined by the user’s subscription plan.
All intellectual property rights related to Zertwacht.com remain exclusively with Zertwacht.com. Users receive a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the service according to their subscription plan.
Users agree to use the Service exclusively for lawful purposes and activities. Any unlawful use of the Service is strictly prohibited.
Certificate data monitored and provided by Zertwacht.com is publicly and widely available information. Zertwacht.com does not claim ownership rights over this data. Users may freely export certificate and event data provided by the Service.
Zertwacht.com shall not be liable for any delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, cyber-attacks, or infrastructure failures. Zertwacht.com will apply a reasonable amount of effort to prevent or mitigate these disruptions.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zertwacht.com, its officers, employees, and affiliates, against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from the user’s violation of these Terms of Service or misuse of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by Swiss law. Disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be exclusively resolved by the competent courts in Zürich, Switzerland.
Arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism is encouraged and preferred, subject to mutual agreement.
The legal language of these Terms of Service is English.
Any amendments or modifications to these terms will be communicated via email and on this website. Users will have the option to cancel their subscription if they disagree with these amendments or modifications.

Zertwacht.com uses no cookies or other fingerprinting methods for unauthenticated users (visitors).

In order to provide you with the service, when you sign up, we collect your email address and password. We also collect domain names you want to monitor and other notification data at later stage when you add them to your account.
You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal data, and ask for it to be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you make a request, we must respond to you within one month. To make a data protection rights request, please contact us using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
We keep mentioned data for 30 days after you delete your account or disabled the service for the domain. After that, we will delete your data, but we may keep pseudonymized data (cryptographic hashes of your domain names or email addresses) for the purpose of monitoring and abuse prevention.
We do not sell your data.
We use Supabase to store your data and provide you with the service. We share your contact data with a service providers, such as SendGrid, MXRoute, we use to process and send notifications you requested.
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by email, if you are registered with us.
